Grant discipline before proposal momentum

Should this opportunity get staff time?

Check hard eligibility stops, closeable fit gaps, funder durability, application economics, and evidence timing in one review.

01 / Organization

State the facts the call can test.

02 / Opportunity

Supply the complete call.

About the tool

Protect staff time before proposal work begins.

Grant Fit Auditor tests a nonprofit against the explicit terms of an opportunity, separates disqualifiers from fixable gaps, and shows where filing evidence or source confirmation remains incomplete.

What it does

It reads the supplied opportunity and organization facts, quotes explicit eligibility requirements, identifies failed or ambiguous hard stops, ranks closeable fit gaps, and returns one recommendation: pursue, pause, decline, or needs human check.

An optional funder EIN adds a filing-backed durability read. When the call discloses application volume, award count, and award size, the tool also calculates expected value per application and break-even staff hours. It never invents missing volume.

What remains human

Staff must confirm the legal entity, source accuracy, unstated context, organizational evidence, and the final decision. The output supports triage. It does not certify eligibility or replace leadership judgment.

Data-handling posture

What happens to what you paste?

Grant Fit Auditor does not create accounts or write submitted text, organization profiles, or results to a database. For each audit, the application sends the material you provide to OpenAI's API, receives the assessment, and returns it to your browser. The application requests that OpenAI not store the response as application state.

OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the customer explicitly opts in. Under OpenAI's standard API controls, abuse-monitoring logs may contain prompts and responses and are retained for up to 30 days, unless the law requires longer retention. OpenAI offers different controls to eligible, approved customers.

This application's code does not intentionally write pasted text or results to its logs. The hosting service may still record ordinary operational metadata, such as request timing, status, and errors. Treat this as an external service. Do not paste anything you would not send to a vendor by email. Summarize unpublished applicant material, personal information, or content covered by a confidentiality obligation.

Designer

Designed by Wayan Vota

Wayan Vota designed Grant Fit Auditor as a practical test of grant discipline. He defined the problem, the four recommendation states, the evidence requirements, and the points where automated analysis must stop for human review.

Wayan directed the product design, testing, and release. OpenAI Codex was used to implement the application under his direction. The tool's structure and limits reflect his design choices, not a recommendation from the analysis provider.
